Dr. Carlos Campo is the President of Regent University in Virginia Beach, Va. Dr. Campo's career progression includes more than 20 years in higher education.

Dr. Campo led a Regent University team through its most recent successful accreditation process, leading to full accreditation from the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. This accomplishment helps strengthen the university’s academic standing and stature.

His most recent publications include an entry for Death of a Salesman, in the Research Guide to American Literature: Post War Literature, 1945-1970, and a book review of Christian Worldview and The Academic Disciplines: Crossing the Academy.

In 2007, Dr. Campo was recognized as Outstanding Educator by the Clark County (Nevada) Commission, Educator of the Year by the Las Vegas Latin Chamber of Commerce and was given the Champion of Education Award by the National Latin Business Association.  In 1993, the UNLV Foundation honored his dissertation, "Friendship in Arthur Miller," as the Dissertation of the Year.

Dr. Campo is a four-time recipient of one of academia’s most coveted recognitions, “Who’s Who among American Teachers,” an accolade that is student-generated, recognizing a professor who has had a significant impact on the nominating student’s life.
